DARMIAN WINS PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD

Matteo Darmian's impressive start to life with Manchester United has earned the Italian right-back his first accolade with the club - the Player of the Month award for August.
Thousands of fans voted in ManUtd.com's global poll with 42 per cent selecting the summer signing - presumably appreciating both his attacking flair on the right flank and his robust contribution to United's early cluster of clean sheets.
"It's important to know this is from the fans," Matteo told us. "I want to thank them. I am happy.

"I also want to thank my team-mates and everyone at the club for making me feel welcome. I have been working hard for the team."

Two of Darmian's fellow defenders were also nominated for the award, with Chris Smalling collecting 35 per cent of the votes to Luke Shaw's 23 per cent. All three have since performed well for their national teams during the international break and will be looking to maintain their form as September's domestic schedule begins with Saturday's home game against Liverpool.
When recently asked about Darmian's displays, Louis van Gaal said: "A full-back firstly has to defend and then secondly he has to build up. Thirdly, he has to attack and give an option to his fellow players in front of him. He has fulfilled my expectations of him so far."
Congratulations to Matteo and thanks to all the fans around the world who voted on ManUtd.com.
Look out for MUTV's exclusive interview with Matteo Darmian on Friday evening.

Pesawat bernama Elizabethan itu sempat gagal take off sebanyak dua kali sebelum mengudara. Sepertinya semua akan berjalan lancar dan baik2 saja. Namun tak lama setelah mengudara tiba2 pesawat terguncang hebat dan salah satu mesin mati! Parapenumpang langsung panik " kita akan mati" teriak Johnny Berry, seorang anggota tim.

Pilot mencoba utk mengendalikan pesawat, namun sia-sia. Pesawat meluncur deras menhujam bumi.

Aku mencoba utk menemukan temanku, Blanchy ( Jackie Blanchflower ) ternyata dia masih hidup, namun kondisinya sangat parah, lengan nya nyaris putus, disebelahnya tergeletak kapten Tim Roger Byrne sudah tak bernyawa. " tutur Gregg.

HERRERA CONFIDENT AHEAD OF LIVERPOOL CLASH

Ander Herrera is ready to perform for Manchester United in whichever role he is allocated in Saturday's Barclays Premier League showdown with Liverpool.
The Spanish midfielder can fill a variety of midfield positions and has lately been operating in a more advanced slot behind the striker. After being named in Louis van Gaal's XI for the last two games, he's hoping for a third successive start and is confident that United can secure victory over the Merseysiders.
"I am ready to play if the manager wants me to play against Liverpool," Herrera told MUTV in an exclusive interview. "I've trained very well and I keep improving my fitness.
"I like to give chances to the manager to put me in both [defensive and attacking] positions. Last season, I played most of the time as a no.8, more of a holding role, but, now, I have the chance to play as a no.10.
"Sometimes it is better to play as a no.6 or no.8 if the other team is waiting for you because you can have more touches. But if you play against teams like Liverpool, who want to beat us and want to attack, it’s maybe better to do it as a no.10.
"You never know in football but what I have to do is keep helping the team. If I can score, it’s very good for me and for the team also. If I cannot do it, I have to help assist, keep the ball and try to create chances. So I believe in myself and my qualities. I think I can do a good job in the no.10, no.8 or no.6 role."
Herrera believes Liverpool could miss one of their key playmakers, Philippe Coutinho, who is suspended after receiving a red card during their 3-0 home defeat to West Ham United.
"It’s true their best player, Coutinho, cannot play but we cannot think about it," insisted Herrera. "We have to think about ourselves. If we play well, and we are at our best, we will have a lot of chances to beat them.
"I think it’s good for us that we had the experience of last season when we beat them. I think we were much better than them in both games but they are Liverpool and they are a good team with very good players."
Watch the full interview with Ander in MUTV's Countdown to Kick-off at 18:30 BST on Friday.
